Scotland: 1, France: 0

It's a bit belated, (work has actually been rather busy - the horror) but...

So I guess that means we're technically the 2nd best football team in the world right now. When do we play Italy?

Overwhelming urge...

... to set my out-of-office to something along the lines of

Have headed home for the weekend. I suggest that you do the same.

Email again on Monday - I'll reply then

Kindest regards, etc etc

Would that get me in trouble?

Have a good weekend y'all!

Another update on my busy afternoon

Delivery man just arrived with a couple of parcels. Asked for help carrying them, so I merrily skipped downstairs. To find out they weigh 40K each.

Never gonna happen.

Skipped upstairs to find a big burly man to carry them for me instead.

Germaine Greer would HATE me.

I didn't think people really did that...

Just washing up after lunch (homemade lasagne - am such a domestic goddess) and managed to splash water all over my crotch, so it does indeed look like I have wet myself.

I guess I should stay sat at my desk (grammar?!) until have dried off.

My goodness.

Mark Foley

I can't even begin to express my thoughts on Mark Foley's IM conversation. Except to say I pity the fool. And I seemed to have turned into Mr T.

(If you want to read some rather more eloquent thoughts, check out the very awesome Jason Mulgrew right here. )

Alone in the office Part 2

No ipod this time, but I did just eat an entire box of choc chip cookies, which (ahem) weren't exactly mine.

Should probably pop out now to replace them.

Although I'd probably end up eating the replacements too.

It's a vicious cycle.

On another note, I just got yelled at by a very grumpy Funeral Director who's insisting our office cleaners are throwing our rubbish out of the window into his back yard.

I've never been yelled at by a Funeral Director before.

Alone in the office

And totally rocking.

I have my i-pod on shuffle and I'm eating Toblerone. Long live Fridays.
